How to Cope With Death

This is a cool video.  Shows a lady that just won’t die.  And it has nice music too.  Check it out if you will.

Why America is Doomed

Exhibit A: Two horrendous impersonators mock the people who we expect to be the leaders of our country. Apparently the office of the president has no respect anymore (thank you George W. Bush) and is now just a joke. Pretty much everyone feels that they are better than the candidates. Since both Barrack and Hillary were beaten by the big Samoan guy does that mean that he is the democratic candidate? I sure hope so I am not looking forward to more months of speculation and polling. He could probably kick John McCain’s ass well so the Democrats would have a lock come November.

Vista Rockin’ the Sales

This video has been unleashed on the general public recently. It was a internal promotional video for Microsoft’s sales staff to pump them up for selling Windows Vista. It features “Bruce ServicePack and the Vista Street Band” singing about how rockin’ the new service pack update 1 is. They don’t mention all of the bugs that Vista had when it shipped and how vastly inferior it is to Windows XP in every regard, but hey they have a bad parody rock band. I enjoy the fact that they are spoofing a video from almost 20 years ago. Maybe the reason Windows Vista isn’t selling is because Microsoft is completely out of touch secluded in its fortress of doom in the Pacific North West. Seriously what ever PR firm made this turd should be banned from making any type of promotional material in any media ever.

Expelled or Why Jesus Knows Better than Darwin

I’m sure you’ve seen the trailer and ads for the new movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed! with Ben Stein on TV or the internet. The premise of the movie is that Big Science the elitist scientific establishment is keeping Intelligent Design out of the classrooms and ruining the careers of any scientist who speaks in favor of it.

Stein says on the topic, “Big Science in this area of biology has lost its way,” says Stein. “Scientists are supposed to be allowed to follow the evidence wherever it may lead, no matter what the implications are. Freedom of inquiry has been greatly compromised, and this is not only anti-American, it’s anti-science. It’s anti-the whole concept of learning.”

Time To Pretend

After watching this video I feel like I have either seen god or had a seizure. Either than or I ate some bad brownies and now I’m craving a bag of Cheetos.

Balls of Steel

Balls of Steel is a comedy series out of Britain in which a series of performers do stunts filmed by hidden camera. The show features mostly outrageous and annoying stunts in which the performer pisses the hell out of the target. Think Jackass only meaner. Fortunately the British are a little less violent than Americans and there hasn’t been any shootings on the show, yet. The following videos are a sample of the performers and the stunts they do.

 Neg’s Urban Sports:

Neg plays “urban sports” by performing stunts in which he competes against an unwitting participant. In this stunt “Urban Sprinting” he walks out of a department store with just a security tag and then has to escape from security guards.

Bicho

Here is a cute little animation about an alien.  My addition to the study of UFOlogy, if you will, even though I didn’t make the video, only found it on youtube.

Career Advice, Do Not Listen To Crazy People

I found this tidbit of internet the other day and I just felt the need to share with everyone. This site looks nice and professional.  In fact they even dare to let their motto be “make an educated decision” while they write articles telling us about five “Weird Careers in the Unknown” which include careers in “Cryptozoology, Ufologist, Parapsychologist, Paranormal Investigator and Conlinguist (unfortunately neither Wikipedia nor Google knows what conlinguism is so I had to direct you to that site, Google suggested I had misspelled cunnilinguist). This site, a college career advice site, feels that it’s okay to tell people who are looking for a new career in these troubling times that becoming a cryptozoologist is an awesome and exciting new career choice. In fact, here is a paragraph from the introduction of this article to explain:

These career paths are not for the faint-hearted. Any of these will almost certainly mean danger, spooky experiences, scanty paychecks, and/or ridicule from the mainstream public. If you think you have what it takes to be the next Fox Mulder, check out the following careers.

Scanty paychecks and/or ridicule? Sign me up right now! And, seriously, the next F0x Mulder? Did no one tell this guy that Fox Mulder was an imaginary character on a Science Fiction TV program and never really existed? What kind of career path is this? How many Paranormal Investigators have to have second jobs to pay the rent? How many Conlinguists (which if you didn’t figure it out yet, these people’s jobs are to create, write and speak fake languages from fictional characters from movies, books and tv shows) need to work at McDonalds just to eat? I think it’s time to scrutinize each section of this guy’s article and then add one more “exciting and fictitious” career to his already lacking list. (more…)

A Gentleman’s Duel

This is a cute little animation about two gentlemen fighting for the hand of a fair(ly well endowed) maiden.  Don’t let me ruin it for you by telling you there is a little twist.  Please enjoy!
